What is a YACATHON?

The first ever National Anti-Corruption event that took place on the 8th, 22nd and 23rd of May 2021.
A YACathon is a Space and time for Participants/Spark Makers to design and envision innovative anti-corruption solutions that contribute to controlling corruption in public administration in the country.

They will meet like-minded youth who still believe in their ability to make a change, and are willing to fight for a future where integrity and transparency are the norms.

Experts and mentors in the anti-corruption and innovation fields will be waiting for them to inspire, educate them on means of controlling and preventing corruption and support them in building their solutions.

Who is it for ?

The YACATHON is for Lebanese youth to lighten up  their sparks and regain their confidence in their ability to design the future of Lebanon.

The outcomes ?

LEARN

Participants  will learn more about corruption and will get the chance to meet mentors and experts in the field

INCUBATION

4 winning projects will get the chance to be incubated by prominent national incubators

BRAINSTORM

More than 10 ideas and projects that contribute to controlling and preventing corruption in Lebanon will be developed and pitched

Connect

Participants will connect with like minded youth with similar values and aspirations

EXCHANGE

Enriching exchange of ideas, dreams, concerns and actions will take place among participants
